General purpose crosscut sled

Every table saw needs a crosscut sled to go with it. It’s the easiest way to make perfectly accurate, clean crosscuts, and it’s a great alternative to a miter saw or radial arm saw if you are limited on money or shop space. Watch the video below to see how I made one for my new table saw.

If you would like to make a crosscut sled like this yourself, I’ve provided a download link for a free 3D  model below. To view this you will need Sketchup, which is a free 3D CAD program.

Download model: GP crosscut sled.zip

Note: The .zip file above contains a Sketchup (.skp) file, so you will need to un-zip and extract the .skp file before opening it. You will need the latest version of Sketchup in order to view this model.

I do not ask for any payment in return for my Sketchup models. However, if you would like to help out, you can make a one-time donation using the PayPal donate button below, or support me on a monthly basis on my Patreon page.
